Getting in touch with your feelings is never convenient, especially with our current busy lifestyles. However, from a consciousness perspective, what’s the point of not feeling?
I believe, ‘not feeling’ manifests itself in all kinds of detrimental ways, such as: unhealthy eating, poor work performance and disengaged relationships. In the past, I’ve experienced all of these, until I chose to include my ME.
Just the other day, I went to bed at a reasonable hour after spending a really fun evening with my family. But the next morning, for no apparent reason, I woke up feeling off.
When this happens, we have basically two choices: just move on and hope it gets better or allow myself time to feel what I feel, and act appropriately.
I decided to spend a few moments figuring out what the discomfort could be. My conclusion was that my thoughts and my feelings were not in sync. My mind was telling me that everything is Ok, but my feelings were telling me otherwise.
My ME just wanted to be heard and acknowledged and loved. If you’ve experienced this, or any other kind of “where is this coming from” uncertainty, Conscious Language can help!
